Malcolm J Naudi Communications was commissioned to draw up the official report of a two-day conference titled Economic advice in fisheries management, organised by the European Commission’s DG for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG-MARE) in Malta on 4 and 5 February, 2016.
The conference report, covering all the sessions that took place, involved taking notes and also recording the entire conference.
These included four plenary sessions involving moderated discussions, six parallel sessions and a closing address by the Director General, who attended the entire conference. The notes of the four parallel sessions that we physically were not able to sit through were provided by other representatives of DG-MARE and were integrated into the report.
“This was a highly challenging job that required a great attention to detail but we were able to rely on our experience in writing an aquaculture website last year to quickly come up to speed with the various acronyms and jargon used by the participants, who came from the scientific community, administrators and other stakeholders,” Malcolm J Naudi said.
The report was delivered a week ahead of schedule and has been posted online by the European Commission. You can find it here.
